Teachers, parents and supporters of students at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools marched in Raleigh on Friday with thousands of other educators for better funding of public schools. "The lack of respect for teachers shows the lack of respect for students in the classroom," said Jacqueline Day, a math teacher at Smithfield Elementary School. "And that's really what it is, is standing up for our students." 📸: Rebecca Noel, Lindsey Siner, Jeff Siner Video by Emily Broyles #cms #charlotte #raleigh #teacherrally
